Hello! I am the owner & founder of Oh Suzannah Music Studio. I have been teaching music lessons for over 20 years. I started teaching when I was 16 years old, seeking teaching advice from veteran teachers and studying piano pedagogy books. I taught around 30 students a week all the way through college and graduated with my B.S. in Secondary Education, majoring in English with a minor in Music Education. I taught in two private schools for four years before I realized that even though I loved teaching English, my strength was teaching music to all ages.
Since then, I’ve continued to teach private lessons, as well as enjoying a season as a music teacher at the Brooklyn Music School in New York. I’ve learned a lot through the years, and hope to continually grow in my abilities to help people enjoy the incredible gift of music!
I am passionate about giving a well-rounded music education to my students with a focus on equipping them to enjoy & share all kinds of music that can cheer hearts & point us all to the love of God.
